Like it or lump it, magic has been part of Jewish tradition since the ancient world. Join Kohenet Yael Tischler for this four-session course to meet our witch-and-wizard ancestors and explore the winding road of contradictions and wisdoms of the Jewish relationship with magic.

4. The Yeshiva of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Course Details:
Sessions will be taught via Zoom and can also be accessed via phone.
While live attendance is encouraged, all sessions will be recorded, allowing you to engage with the material even if you’re unable to attend in real time.

Kohenet Rabbi Yael Tischler
Yael Tischler is a Kohenet (Hebrew Priestess), rabbi, ritual-weaver, Jewish educator and song leader. She is the co-founder of Yelala, a constellation of work that celebrates Earth-centred, feminist Jewish spirituality and reclaims the practices of our women/femme and folk ancestors. She holds an MA in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa University, a BA in English Literature from Columbia University and a BA in Tanakh (Bible) from the Jewish Theological Seminary. She was ordained as a rabbi by Leo Baeck College.
