WHITE FEATHERS: Single Release & Hoshanah Rabbah Celebration with Shoshana Jedwab — Thursday, October 1, 7:30-9 pm ET / 4:30-6 pm PT
“White Feathers” explores the continuing relationships we have with loved ones after death. In Jewish folklore and mystical tradition, Hoshana Rabbah is understood as a final opportunity to seek compassion, healing, and repair before the year's judgments are sealed. Some mystical teachings describe the night of Hoshana Rabbah as a liminal time, when the veil between worlds grows especially thin and the souls of the departed are believed to draw near, interceding on behalf of the living.
On Thursday, October 1, from 7:30-9 pm ET via Zoom, join singer-songwriter and percussionist Shoshana Jedwab for the virtual release of “White Feathers,” her long-awaited new single with Daniel Ori—an evening of music, story, and remembrance honoring both this extraordinary night and the enduring bonds that inspire the song.

Shoshana Jedwab
Shoshana Jedwab is a singer-songwriter, percussionist, and ritual artist whose music transforms personal stories into powerful communal experiences. Blending soulful vocals, poetic storytelling, and spiritual depth, she has cultivated a distinctive voice at the intersection of folk, sacred music, and contemporary songwriting. Her latest single, White Feathers, is a deeply personal mystical testimony and a luminous reflection on grief, love, and the healing that can emerge through the enduring bond between the living and the dead.
Her debut album, I Remember, along with singles including Openings, Torah Orah, Life Is Born, and Where You Go (I Will Go), offers contemporary perspectives on ancient wisdom. Her viral 2018 social justice anthem, Where You Go (I Will Go)—a "zipper song" inspired by the Book of Ruth—calls listeners toward radical inclusion and love in the face of xenophobia. Shoshana was recognized by Jewish Rock Radio as one of its "Jewish Women Who Rock the Worship World."
